Leftwing newspaper The Guardian allowed an American jihadi bride currently living in a refugee camp in Syria to beg for a return to the US in a long spun interview.
Now 24-year-old Miss Hoda Muthana, had eagerly left Hoover, Alabama back in 2014 to join ISIS in Syria at the young age of 19.
Whilst over there she called for US Muslims to ‘spill all of the blood’ by launching terror attacks during Memorial Day events.
In a 2015 she wrote on Twitter: ‘You have much to do while you live under our greatest enemy, enough of your sleeping!’
‘Go on drive-bys and spill all of their blood, or rent a big truck and drive all over them. Veterans, Patriot, Memorial etc Day parades, go on drive-by’s and spill all of their blood or rent a big truck and drive all over them. Kill them.’
Luckily, by now, and after the death of her husband in a fight with Syrian rebel forces, she has come to see the wrongness of her ways and therefore is eager to return to the US.
Speaking in The Guardian, Ms Muthana says she now ‘deeply regrets’ her words.
‘I thought I was doing things correctly for the sake of God,’ adding that she now believes she ‘misunderstood’ her faith.
‘I was really young and ignorant and I was 19 when I decided to leave.’
“I look back now and I think I was very arrogant. Now I’m worried about my son’s future. In the end I didn’t have many friends left, because the more I talked about the oppression of Isis the more I lost friends. I was brainwashed once and my friends are still brainwashed.”
