When the rich fight, you normally don’t see it. They know that a marriage breakdown is ‘expensive’ and ‘very bad PR’. That’s why it is so surprising to see Larry Baer, the San Francisco Giants CEO, see being filmed as he pulls his wife off a chair in a public park and then drags her to the ground as she screams ‘oh my god, help’.

The shock footage, which we can all assume will only be on the internet for a few days before Mr Bear launches a legal suit to get it taken down, shows how the two are clearly arguing with Mr Bear getting physical towards his spouse.

An onlooker in a public park claimed he heard the pair arguing before the altercation.

The 61-year-old sports club owner is standing over his wife’s chair as he tries to pull a cell phone from her hand and the two start fighting.

The anonymous shooter of the clip then says: ‘I know this guy from somewhere and another guy said: ‘That’s Larry Baer’.

‘He knocks her down off her chair and gets on top of her and puts his hands on her. She was screaming for help. She seemed pretty terrified.’

The incident was filmed in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley. Police have confirmed that they are currently investigating the video footage.

Meanwhile Mr Baer has released a statement, saying: “I am truly sorry for the pain that I have brought to my wife, children and to the organization. It is not reflective of the kind of a person that I aspire to be, but it happened and I will do whatever it takes to make sure that I never behave in such an inappropriate manner again.”
